Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised assistant to support our Head of Events & Marketing. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in events, sales, and account management. Initially, the role will focus on assisting with administrative tasks, contracting, advancing, and learning every aspect of the business. Over time, the position will evolve into a more sales-focused role with opportunities for commission-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities
First 3-6 Months: Assistant Role
During the initial phase of this role, you will:
- Shadow the Head of Events & Marketing closely to learn all processes and workflows in detail.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as contracting, advancing, and coordinating event details.
- Work with new and existing promoters and other revenue streams to understand the end-to-end processes (sales > marketing > finance/billing).
- Support event management tasks, including production planning, ticket tracking, and marketing activity for shows.
- Aid in promoter engagement by assisting with outreach, venue walkthroughs, and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
- Contribute to reporting tasks such as preparing weekly director meeting slide decks (revenue updates, escalations, and marketing performance).
- Assist with finance-related tasks like P&L creation, invoice prioritisation, post-show cash-ups, and debt chasing/escalation.
- Provide support in marketing activities such as competitor analysis, copywriting/proofing content, social media management, and liaising with offline promo teams.
After 3 Months: Transition to Sales & Accounts Executive/Manager Role
If you excel during your initial phase:
- Transition into a sales-focused role with primary emphasis on external promoters and leveraging your existing network.
- Manage client relationships while actively seeking new clients to expand the company’s revenue streams.
- Earn uncapped commission on new deals brought in—even during your assistant phase.
6-12 Months: Growth Opportunity
As you grow into the role:
- Collaborate on hiring an administrative assistant to help manage advancing and contracting workloads.
- Focus entirely on developing new client relationships while maintaining existing ones.

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive learner who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Skilled in communication (written and verbal) with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Experienced in administrative or customer service roles (experience in events or sales is a plus).
- Tech-savvy with familiarity in tools like Excel or Google Sheets, Asana (project management) or CRM systems (preferred but not required).
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Uncapped commission structure for new clients brought onboard after transitioning into a sales-focused role.
- Opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic team environment.
- Mentorship from industry experts and hands-on training during your initial phase.
