The Chase’s Shaun Wallace is heading to Bristol to host the most brutal quiz. Here’s how you can play.

ITV’s ‘The Dark Destroyer’ will be hosting a hugely popular quiz night at Lakota Nightclub in Bristol on Thursday, the 15th of May.

Have you ever wanted to go head-to-head with a chaser? Do you have what it takes to be crowned pub quiz champion? Or will you be walking home empty-handed? Forget easy questions and friendly competition! This is a battle of wits where only the sharpest minds will win!

Having previously sold out shows in Nottingham, Birmingham, and Liverpool, Shaun Wallace is ready to test Bristol’s knowledge to the limit on the next stop of his UK tour.

This Saturday, 8th March, we celebrate International Women’s Day. A moment to honour the achievements of women across the globe while recognising the challenges that still remain in the fight for gender equality today.

Born in the early 1900’s and then officially adopted by the United Nations in 1975, the story of International Women’s Day (IWD) goes back in history and remains a pivotal day in the world we live in today.

The music industry, like many others, has long been shaped by pioneering women who have pushed boundaries, challenged norms, and redefined culture. From underground scenes to global stages, women have been instrumental in shaping the sound and spirit of music. Yet, gender inequality persists, whether it’s the lack of representation in lineups, disparities in pay, or barriers to opportunities behind the decks and beyond.

At Lakota, we’re committed to creating an inclusive and diverse space where female and non-binary artists are championed, where lineups reflect the talent that too often goes overlooked, and where we continue to challenge outdated industry norms. We believe in uplifting, empowering and supporting women in music, not just today but every day.

Join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day with a plethora of events happening in the club this week that spotlight some of the incredible women shaping music and culture.
