About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Meta Ads Specialist to manage and optimise advertising campaigns across Meta platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. As a freelancer, you will work closely with clients or internal teams to develop innovative ad strategies, create compelling content, and deliver measurable results. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Management:
    • Develop, execute, and optimise Meta ad campaigns tailored to client objectives.
    • Conduct audience research and segmentation to target high-value prospects.
    • Set up campaigns with clear goals, including traffic, engagement, lead generation, or sales.
  • Creative Development:
    • Design engaging ad creatives using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • Write persuasive ad copy that resonates with target audiences.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Track campaign performance using Meta Business Suite and analytics tools.
    • Conduct A/B testing to refine targeting, creatives, and bidding strategies.
    • Adjust campaigns in real-time to maximise ROI and meet KPIs.
  • Reporting & Insights:
    • Generate detailed performance reports with actionable insights.
    • Use data to recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Staying Updated:
    • Stay informed about updates to Meta’s advertising tools and policies.
    • Experiment with new features like Advantage+ shopping campaigns or Conversions API.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms.
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, custom/lookalike audiences, and sales funnels.
  • Proficiency in tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Facebook Audience Insights.
  • Creative skills for designing visuals and writing ad copy.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with compliance guidelines for Meta ads.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification as a Meta Certified Media Buying Professional or similar credentials.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimisation (CRO) techniques for landing pages.
  • Knowledge of competitor analysis and advanced ad placement strategies.
