LADY OF THE HOUSE UNVEIL NEW DJ MENTORING PROGRAMME
Lady of the House, a global leader committed to improving gender equality within the dance music industry, proudly launches a new DJ Mentoring Initiative. The program is locally rooted and aims to empower emerging and marginalised DJ’s in Bristol – the city where Lady of the House was first established and is currently headquartered.
Supported by PPL, the mentoring sessions will be hosted by global DJ’s and organisations, with each mentee holding over 10 years of experience in the industry DJ’s will receive invaluable real life knowledge to spearhead their careers.
To be included on the program, Lady of the House invites all female and non-binary DJs from Bristol to submit a 30 minute demo mix and 10 winners will be selected by Lady of the House and esteemed Producer, Sam Divine.
The mentoring program will kick off in March and will run over 10 weeks, the winners will receive comprehensive mentorship from renowned global producers and DJs, such as; Sam Divine from Defected Records, platinum selling artists Charlotte Devany, Cristina Lazic, and Carley Wilford. These DJ’s will all share their experiences and learnings on how they have carved out their successful careers and navigated the industry as women.
The program will also feature industry insights from leading organisations who will share practical business knowledge required to be successful. Organisations include:

NYX, a top-tier social media agency managing accounts for Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, and Defected

Labelworx, a global label distributor with a track record of nurturing labels for Michael Bibi, Roni Size, and Chase and Status.

Night Time Economy, Beatport, and Lakota will also be included in the program.
