Lakota presents: 10 Years of My Nu Leng

My Nu Leng have cemented themselves as one of Bristol’s and the electronic music scene’s most iconic duos over the last decade. We’re super stoked that they will be returning back to familiar territory after welcoming them for many iconic raves over the last few years.

Taking to the stage alongside Dread MC, another local legend in his own right, this promises to be a very special performance that will pay homage to their impressive catalogue of music from the last 10 years.

My Nu Leng broke through in 2012 with ‘The Grid’, a track that ignited the scene and announced their arrival as the UK’s new prodigal sons. Ten years on and they can lay claim to a legacy that includes a seriously impressive list of accolades and achievements.

Subsequent EPs included notably popular tunes such as ‘Set It’ and ‘Soul Shake’, which became tunes that were heard at pretty much every rave all over the UK from 2015 onwards. Still retaining a hint of their signature bass-heavy beats, recent productions have seen the pair push boundaries and venture into the realms of techno.

Connecting with their idols, growing a dedicated fanbase and giving newcomers a leg up, it’s come full circle for the trio and they’re soaking up every second with gratitude and the same level of passion that set them on this path over 10 years ago…the Bristol leg forms the final part of their tour, and promises to be the biggest one yet.
